Trent Reznor Scores Dragon Tattoo’s and Vampire Hunter’s

Nine Inch Nails industrial rocker, Trent Reznor, is coming off of a high after winning Golden Globes Best Original Score and the Academy Award for Original Score for The Social Network.  Reznor is scheduled to score the David Fincher directed The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, starring Daniel Craig (Casino Royale, Cowboys & Aliens) in production this year.

Now Reznor has been rumored, via Bad Ass Digest, to score the upcoming film production of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) for release in 2012.  The film stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Death Proof, Scott Pilgrim, The Thing) as Mary Todd Lincoln, Dominic Cooper (An Education) as Henry Sturgess and Benjamin Walker (from movies you have never seen).  Here is a brief plot synopsis.

“President Lincoln’s mother is killed by a supernatural creature, which fuels his passion to crush vampires and their slave-owning helpers.”

Yes, this production is really happening and it will be worth your time to see it.  Who needs true history when you can see Lincoln slaying vampires, right?
